I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
5.0
TW: all types of abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety
Jennette’s writing is incredible. I’ve did both - reading and listening to the audiobook - and it was an amazing experience. The book is not hateful at all, despite the strong title. I do not relate to the main topic - her relationship with her mother - and I’m forever grateful for that, but I did relate to other topics and she described them and their consequences perfectly.
I’m glad her mom died too. She deserves the world.
