I’m a little late with my review on this ARC but once I was free from all the deadlines, I inhaled the story in anticipation of what Connor plans next and how Skylar is working through the scars of her past.
At some point, the light switch flipped and the fog cleared up — And the things Connor is willing to do to “prove his love” shimmers through. And I mean the real things and not just the euphemisms he likes to use.
If you’re up for a thrill, also facing some sprinkles of psychology here and there, you’re seriously not let down.
