I managed to finish it when I've been dnfing so many lately so that is something. I did enjoy 90 percent of this book. It's just difficult to manage this type of story. I found myself feeling bad for her dead husband. The characters were interesting enough, the intimate scenes were very tame and uninteresting to me. The characters did hold some tension though, it was just the follow through. I liked the inner struggles the heroine went through. I thought the resolution was too easy and hastily put together for all the previous angst about it. I did not like the epilogue

with their grown children,

but I don't tend to like those. This isn't usually the sub genre of romance I read so it might be me. I thought the writing was good.
