Love's Enduring Promise by Janette Oke

3.0

Love's Enduring Promise is a series of snapshots in Clark and Marty's life as they raise their children. It takes place over more than 10 years of their lives, so there are often leaps and bounds in things that happen. I love seeing their children be born and grow, and the older ones pair off (though it was often rather quick, due to the type of story-telling). I like a lot of the side characters as well! Clae's romance and Mr. Wilbur Whittle's story are probably my favorite parts of the book. This time through I focused a lot on the Larson story, due to some things that have happened touching my own life since the last time I read this book.
This is a very sweet and charming book in the series, although not one of my favorites. I am very excited to keep going though, because book 3 and 4 were always my favorites.
