What a wild ride of a book. Jade is obsessed with slasher films. So many slasher movie references- a genre I am not that well versed in but I was able to make my way through. Anyway, suddenly she sees an epic slasher scenario coming together around her in her small lakeside town. Is it really happening? Is she suffering delusions? Then the bodies start to fall. This was so not my kind of book but I found I couldn’t put it down. Jade was a fascinating character.
