Bride by Ali Hazelwood
4.0
This is not my typical read. I really only picked it up for the sake of a book club. I don't usually read booktok romances but I found myself entertained by this.
Being overly analytical with this story gets you nowhere, really I was here for the immaculate vibes. I loved the two main characters, I loved Ana too because she sounds so adorable. I did have some questions in my mind about why do the vampyres and weres sound like such literal poplar opposites of each other and why do the vampyres have literally not a single redeeming factor about them. That was probably the only thing that made me knock off a star though. I enjoyed everything else about this book including the SPICE.
While this still may not be my usual kind of book, it was a nice read to dive into and definitely left me satisfied. I'll come back to ali hazelwood maybe if my book club sees another reason to make me. I probably wouldn't be so hesitant about my next read from her.
