For me idk but this book was the definition of mid. It did have me turning the pages wanting to get to the thrill... but unfortunately there just wasn't one. Nothing groundbreaking just an ok
Christmas thriller. I did enjoy the journal entries and wish we got a bit more even Emma writing in Ashley‘s diary for me it would’ve been a cool twist

The characters were flat and not very likable. Speaking of characters there were so many plot holes like why did Emma and Adam stop talking shortly after the murder of Ashley? We are just thrown into the future where Adam is a murderer and Emma decides that because non of these murders benefit her she might as well take her brother down? Like huh?
