This was on the NYT summer reading list and I’m glad it was bc I tend to dismiss books with covers like these - but this was really good! I like a complicated love story that’s less about tropes. Plus baseball! And remarkably well done baseball, too. I enjoyed it a lot and will check out the others in this series (they’re related but not really sequential, from what I understand).
