I cannot express how excited I am to read the final book in the series after reading Nona. All the little bits and pieces and threads from the two previous novels have all been pulled taut together in this one and it never feels like exposition.
Like the first two books, I constantly cracked up reading this. The writing is sharp, the dialog is witty, the framing is as unique as ever (two main characters with amnesia in a row, but it somehow works), and even though a couple of long multi-book jokes made me roll my eyes, I still laughed.
I am talking about the reveal that Alecto is both the literal soul of the Earth and also Barbie
Nona is such a lovable character, and I'm glad I got to spend this time with her and the gang and Noodle.
