A really interesting take on the YA teenager-from-disadvantaged-population-saves-the-world thing. For the first couple of pages I wondered whether it would hold my attention, but I would have devoured it in one sitting if I had the time. The characters are intriguing, and the world is definitely interesting, and it is absolutely full of action.
