Oh. My. God. This story was absolutely insane! From beginning to end, it was just so amazing and good. I couldn't put the book down to save my life! I'm going to try and contain myself to give a good review.

So this book is about twins, Peter and Michael. Peter is considered the naughty twin. He wasn't very good in school and his parent's seemed to not love him as much as his twin. Michael, on the other hand, was the golden child. He could do no wrong in the eyes of his parents. So naturally, Peter leaves. I mean who can compete with the golden child?

But due to a series of unfortunate events, Peter has to return home. He decides to stay at his parent's cabin, because that is the only thing that he got. He ends up reuniting with his brother and everything is all good, right? WRONG!

Michael is not who he says he is. Michael is so very sinister and cruel that it shocks the hell out of me. DS has never written something like this before. The crazy plot twists like

Michael essentially poisoning his wife to keep her dependent on him. Or the one where he kills his parents. Or the even better one where he kills his patients that leave him money in their wills

were just so shocking. How could someone do something like that?

This book was an adventure from start to finish. You think it's going to be something typical because of who DS is as a writer. Wrong! I stopped guessing what was going to happen after a while because I was wrong every time. I think that everybody should read this book!
