this was such a fast flowing book. not too much detail, yet not too little, just the perfect balance that makes you feel all the emotion, intertwined with the simplest use of words. I've read similar books, and every time my heart throbs, every single time. this book gives you a view into forced arranged marriage through a fictional story, and unfortunately it's a portrayal of something that we still find now a days. I couldn't put this book down until I was done because I was so eager to find out how things would turn out for Saif and Naila, and I really think you all should take the time to read this too. it's a good book, easy English, fast flowing, yet it makes you think of how people force things on others, how somehow they think it's good for you, how shame can be brought on to a family by following your heart, and how all of that cannot surpass the love one being holds for another and the lengths they're willing to go for the sake of each-other.
