I absolutely loved this book! It will hopefully be the spark I needed to get passed my terrible reading slump!! I am so happy I decided to go with this book as a kick starter because it felt so homey. I loved seeing familiar characters and environments get entwined into a bigger story. I absolutely love Jackie's personality and Diane's realistic parent-like worries. The story took a while to hook me (about a fourth in) but once it got me, I was in it for the long run. The ending seemed a bit lacking due to how easy it almost seemed to resolve itself but it was justifiable.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read with the audiobook, and as a physical copy.
I can't wait for "It Devours!" this coming October. ((:
