Quinn is a grumpy SWAT officer on leave due to a work injury, Spencer is his adorable neighbor who likes him… they get off on the wrong foot, gradually become friends who hang out, watch movies, eat together and fantasize about each other. 

Maybe the novel was too short and the characters couldn’t be developed but I’ve read a lot of Cochet’s work and she is a brilliant storyteller so maybe, it is me that can’t see the sweetness of this novel.
