A kids book about imagination by LeVar Burton

hopeful inspiring medium-paced

5.0

This book reminded me so much of an episode of Reading Rainbow. Burton's voice is so clear in the text that I could hear it in his voice. The passion he brings to the topic is palpable on every page. The graphic design is amazing, especially when the colors and patterns find their way into the text. I loved the little easter egg that Burton put in for the grown-ups.

A Kids Book About consistently puts out the best books on the market about tough and abstract topics, and this one is no exception. The use of basic typography and colors to convey mood and meaning work better than pictures ever could.
