Twenty-Seven Minutes by Ashley Tate

4.5

This book had me hooked! I wanted to know exactly what happened the night of Phoebe Dean’s death. I loved and hated all of the characters - in that the author perfectly created characters that were human, flawed and meant to be hated in the bad things they did and also felt sympathy for (well all except Grant). There was a twist, but it wasn’t as super twisty as some of the reviews on the book made it seem. I definitely recommend this to read if you love a mystery and also exploring humans dealing with grief, secrets and being trapped in the shadow of tragedy.
