This is my new favorite book of all time. It's beautiful as an examination into the harsh all consuming nature of colonialism/imperialism, it's beautiful as dark academia, it's beautiful as a tragic story of friends, and it's an amazing story of revolution. Robin, Ramy, and especially Victoire, have my heart.
