excellent sci fi!  Story of a man trapped on Mars.  He figures out how to survive while Mission Control figures out how to save him.  Lots of good science mixed throughout the book but explained so well throughout the story that anyone can accept and understand the basics.  Found the story engaging and fun to read.  I had seen the movie before I read the book but to be honest I enjoyed both.  Highly recommend.
