“I want to love all of my life as much as I love this night.”

Well holy shit I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. I'm very picky when it comes to the New Adult and erotica genre and I think it's difficult to find the gems in this genre, but damn this book was amazing. Ansel is now one of my favorite male characters ever now and he's so damn swoon-worthy. This book has a lot of sex, yes, but it also has a lot of story, and it's actually really funny too. Mia is an awesome female character and I love that she's so adventurous and spontaneous. I feel like she's really relatable. Yes, the premise of this story sounds really ridiculous. A girl meets a guy in Vegas
gets married to him when they're drunk
and then he asks her to spend the summer in France with him. It sounds like the typical set up for a ridiculous new adult book, but wow, this book took me by surprise.

Ansel is insanely adorable and sexy.
I knew I would love him from the moment he was afraid of flying. Then Mia got food poisoning and started her period on the plane and he had to ask the flight attendants for pads and tampons. I also really loved the scene when Mia was still sick in bed and he didn't want to wake her so he was masturbating in the kitchen. I also love when they role-played as stranger sin the bar and he was pretending he got stood up and he stopped and told her to ignore what he said because he didn't even want to pretend to be a cheater. It was sweet.
I love how he's from Paris, how he rides a motorcycle, how he's a lawyer, and how he calls her "cherise" which means cherry in French.

I listened to this playlist of music while I read this:
-Pillow Talk by Zayn
-Army Of One by Coldplay
-Young by Vallis Alps
-Tonight by Landon Williams
-Go Round by Charlie Puth
-Down 4 U by Blackbear

I love the way Mia talked about him in the narrations like when he would curse in French, and I love the way he always dresses in suits for his job as a lawyer. I love when she would talk about his dimples and I love the way he would help her try and learn French. He would leave a list of all the dirtiest phrases in French, it was hilarious. I don't know why but I kept picturing Ansel's character as Ryan Gosling's character in Ides Of March but with a French accent which made this story ten times better haha.

“Yes. I just want to fall asleep inside you. Maybe our bodies will make love again while our brains sleep.”

I just really loved and adored this book and I can't wait to continue on in this series. This is one of the best erotica books I've ever read and Ansel is everything I love in a male character. I can't talk enough about how great this book is.
I love how Ansel and Mia were too nervous to say "love" so they would just say "like" and then when Mia left at the end she wrote him a note that said: "This isn't never. It's just not now. All my like, Mia I thought it was so cute. I also really loved the ending with them reuniting in San Diego. I thought all the sex scenes were written really well.
