Ooft. I read this after adoring All The Light We Cannot See a few years ago and for a large portion of this book found it fucking hard going. Hard to keep up and maintain multiple timelines and characters all in my head. 
That being said, having finished it, it was wonderful. Touching and sums everything that I love about old books and Ancient Greek texts. How one tale could survive thousands of years through word of mouth and copying and almost falling out of existence. The way these stories can touch people and change them. I love. 
Also kinda wanna be a translator now rip
