it’s no freaking wonder this book is called heartless sky. like why is every one of the main characters fate left all fucked up. not only that, but there were so many ups and downs throughout the story. like it was so heartbreaking to see Diego’s life and death from his point of view, to see that all he wanted was to he wanted, needed, and loved and he had finally found that at ZA. And he faced his fears head on like a true fae would, and died for his friends and queens 😭. but it made me so happy to see Darius reassure Lance that their friendship wasn’t fake and continued their cuddles like nothing changed 🥹. another moment I loved was when geraldine gave Xavier carrots and a poem, and Darius a gold coin which had that date on it, the day they became a family 😭😭. and then i was absolutely loving the scenes with Leon!!! because he was definitely one of my favorites in ruthless boys, so it made me really happy. plus, i loved the new bond between Caleb and Lance. And then seeing Seth and Leon bond is AMAZING 👏👏!!!! Like the exact same personalities finally colliding. but, it was so sad to see the vision about the lives everyone missed out on because of Lionel 😩. BUT Seth and Caleb finally did something 🤭, but Seth freaked out because he thought Caleb regretted it but Caleb was just worried about not satisfying Seth when he reciprocated 😭. Miscommunication at its finest 😩. plus, it was so nice to see Lance and Seth become friends, although begrudgingly from Lance, especially when Lance let Seth cuddle him 🥹. and then poor sweet Xavier, he can’t ever have a moment of happiness or he has terrible timing like after his new Jacob’s latter or losing his virginity 🤦‍♀️🤣. y’all , the love declaration between Geraldine and max made me so freaking emotional, I love them so freaking much 😭, I need them to be Elysian mates. oh my goodness, y’all, I’m not kidding when I cried at the argument Darcy and Lance had before his declaration, then during his declaration, and then I CRIED during their divine moment 😭. and now Darcy is stuck in that shadow beast form all by herself, and Lance made a deal with Lavinia 😩. and then sweet Tory and Darius got the worst fate of all 😢.
