The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson

Did not finish book.
This was a did not finish for me. The first 2/3 of the book was so incredibly slow and boring. I flipped to the last couple pages and can't believe the author ended it on a cliffhanger. I don't see the point of stretching the plot out for two more books. The identities of the assassin and prince were predictable. I didn't buy the love story at all and I didn't care about the main character or the two love interests. This is getting two stars because it's not horrible by any means it just suffers from taking too long to do anything. Also, the fantasy elements are minimal if almost non existent. On to better books.
