I did not expect this audio drama to be this good and honestly, until the last 30%, I thought it would be a four star read. I think sometimes the hardest part for me when it comes to Extended Universe Star Wars books and canon is that I feel like I should know who everyone is, the planets, and the history. I think the key to really enjoying these is going to be understanding that I will need to give the book more of a chance and time and EVENTUALLY things seem to piece together. This took place during the High Republic era and was a full cast audio drama. I enjoyed learning about the culture of Jedha and the Jedi Holidays as well as the people who think that the Jedi abuse the force by manipulating it. This was such an interesting take honestly. I really enjoyed this and I think, with this perspective, I will enjoy the other High Republic novels more too!
