This was a fascinating look at Palestinian history from a well-connected insider’s perspective. I wouldn’t say this is a great entry point if you’re new to learning about Palestine, but it’s an important read for a deeper understanding of the occupation and leading Palestinian actors. Khalidi’s writing style is very accessible and I couldn’t put this down. Will definitely be seeking out more of his work.
