A tough read for sure. I wasn't entirely compelled to read this book, but I can appreciate the survivor story of Jaycee Dugard. The content is very graphic at times. My qualms with the book sometimes was how Dugard tended to defend her captors. One can appreciate though her kidnapping guilt and how she strived to retain relationships during her captivity.
