Booked on a Feeling by Jayci Lee
2.0
2.5 :(
I'm really sad that I didn't love this one in comparison to the first two! I just didn't find their connection realistic (as in we didn't get much basis other than the fact that they're childhood best friends) and the ending was just too... cookie cutter book tropey nonsense lol. Lizzy says something along the lines of "this is what happens in the books... but this is real life..." THEN PROCEEDS TO HAVE A EXACTLY THAT TROPEY MOMENT.
IDK MAN, normally I can suspend the disbelief but this felt just too weird with how she quit her job, moved three times, and her finding what she needed was just not it for me. OVERALL THOUGH, I still really enjoy the town, the world, and how Jayci Lee can make you feel like you're there in the town with them. So while I didn't love this one for several reasons, I still love Weldon lol.
