The Anatomist's Wife by Anna Lee Huber
5.0
Another first person POV story, Kiera is sharp and complicated and troubled and I love, love, love her. There's a salacious past/reputation, a gruesome murder with some extremely emotional implications, a gloomy Highland setting that just oozes with atmosphere, and a pretty damn thrilling conclusion. Enjoyed every moment of this, and sped through it in a matter of hours. Highly recommended to anyone interested in history, fierce ladies, and societal intrigue.
