Sapphics fake dating while working at a zoo.

As soon as this book landed in my inbox I downloaded it immediately to read the first chapter while eating breakfast. In between running errands and being social I still managed to finish reading this book within 30 hours of receiving the earc.

I immediately fell in love with Frankie and was glad to know she'd be immediately treated like the goddess she is by Finch. We've gotten to know Finch throughout the series from her siblings POV and I'm SO GLAD we finally got to Finch's story (I say finally but she's sibling 3 of 7, I'm just impatient). Seeing Finch come to recognise in herself that as a vet she takes on EVERYTHING and needs to learn to trust others hit a bit too close to home. I could see her burnout coming from a mile away. It was handled really well.

There were SO many lines from Finch that made me blush and giggle as I repeated them aloud to my wife. Speaking of my wife, she now claims she's read the whole book because of how much I talked about it at her.

Aside from the sizzling romance brewing between Finch and Frankie I loved seeing new friendships develop. One of my favourite things was seeing Hannah be so happy within the Lachlan family, being besties with Dove and befriending Frankie.

This series continues to give me the perfect amount of drama while still keeping everything light and fun. Bring on book 4

I was given a copy by the publisher. All opinions are my own.
