The story of Vivian and Dante was quite an adventure.
I don't read many arranged marriage romances, so I was excited about this one! I personally thought that this one was a bit of a slow burn, but it was still fun to read. I also felt like the characters acted younger than their age.
While I understood why the characters acted the way that they did, I do wish that there was more openness and communication. Had there been better communication between the characters, I think the book could've been maybe 100 pages shorter as well.
Despite this, I still enjoyed the book! I loved Dante and Vivian. I loved seeing how they slowly started to open up and fall for each other. Dante groveling is one of my favorite things ever! It's easy to fall for a billionaire, but not when you have your own money. I loved how Vivian stood her ground and had her own things she worked on/career. It was interesting to see how they were raised similarly but also different because they came from a different kinds of money,
Vivian's parents and family weren't my favorite, but I also don't think that it was entirely inaccurate. I know a lot of parents and families who view things the way they did growing up around Asian mentality. So it did hit where it was supposed to. I understood Vivian on a different level because of it.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to the next one!
