Murder Brief by Peter Menadue
4.0
A junior barrister, Robyn Palmer, is given the opportunity of a life time to work on a murder trial as junior counsel. She is ambitious and sees this as a chance to make a name for herself and step out from her dead father’s shadow. Her naivety leads her to go beyond her job and investigate the crime with surprising results.
This is an entertaining book giving an insight into the life of a junior criminal barrister and the life of a woman trying to make her way in a man’s world. A recommended read.
