On top of everything I'm going to say: AARON BLACKFORD. Bowing down to Elena Armas for creating a stupidly flawless tech boss who loves the movie Up (what is it with fictional man who loves disney sigh), learns a new language so he can talk to your family, letting you hate him just so he can have your time every day, a thoughtful, respectful man of his words. But a FICTIONAL CHARACTER? He has no rights.
"I'll give you the world," he said against my mouth. "The moon. The fucking stars. Anything you ask, it's yours. I'm yours."
He didn't lie. He even bought Lina five instead of four tacos, as I said, very thoughtful. This man can gives you butterflies with only a stare and I'm not even joking. I'll die immediately when those ocean eyes stares at me, I don't even know how Catalina can survive.
Speaking of Catalina, I love her ambition with her job and fighting against the sexist man at her workplace. However though, at some chapters her monologue is too long like girl, just kiss him already?? But don't worry, I still love you, Lina. Probably not more than your soulmate, but I do.
Watched a Tiktok video of a girl crying reading this, thought I'll get a sad romance all over again but I should probably watch more videos about the book. The only sad thing about this book is when it ended. Bad news:
Graphic: Eating disorder, Misogyny, and Sexual content
Moderate: Death of parent
