On Love by Charles Bukowski

5.0

Oh man, oh my god, this book...this book!
this book rocked my world.

Everything I want to say about how much I loved this feels dumb. All I can say is that Bukowski's poetry here, it is all the things love can be. Raw, ugly, wonderful, beautiful, hateful, brash, gentle, scared, embarrassed, regretful, lusty, filthy, reminiscent, powerful, disgusted, fed up, thankful, joyful. Utterly incredulous that such beauty can exist in a suck-bag world such as ours.

This is one book that I'll buy and keep on my shelf to read over and again.
