USED RECORD - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
a record that bewitches anyone who listens to it. i did like this one though i didn’t find it very horrifying? short&sweet.

SHIVER - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
WOWOWOWOWO WHAT
the visuals in this are so disturbing and that’s what makes it so good. this may only terrifying to people with a certain phobia but the strange and dark panels make up for it.

FASHION MODEL - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
this actually really scared me for no reason? i think it was just the unease the whole way through that really got me. this woman is seriously creepy.

HANGING BLIMP - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
the suicide hanging of a teen singer sets in motion many more similar deaths in its wake. huge balloons seem to litter the sky, though they are shaped like heads of people living in this small town. soon, people begin to notice nooses hanging from these balloons that will stop at nothing to hang the owners of their faces. this concept is so utterly unique and fascinating to me. stereotypical but probably my favourite in this collection.

MARIONETTE MANSION - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
a young boy follows his fathers passion of working as a puppeteer and many years later his younger brother pays a visit to find he’s taken puppetry to a whole new level. this one made me feel so on edge- nikola orsinov stand will ADORE this one.

PAINTER - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
a short story following tomie who also has her own manga collection. i haven’t actually read tomie but this story has convinced me (as if i wasn’t already smh) a young woman has a charm of bewitching men and leading them to their demise.
THE LAST PAINTING HE MAKES AHHH

THE LONG DREAM - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
this concept is utterly amazing. a man begins to have strange dreams, though they seem to increase in length until he is living lifetimes and eternities. his present day body goes through many shocking changes.

HONOURED ANCESTORS - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
a young woman experiences amnesia after her boyfriend reveals a disturbing secret about his family traditions. she won’t get away as easily as she did the first time.

GREASED - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
i think this is the one that creeped me out the most.
