This was the first book by E. Cleveland I've read but it won't be the only one. I needed a male romance author for a book challenge and this description lured me in. It was a quick, enjoyable read. Parts of this book are steamy, which I absolutely don't mind. I would've liked to see a little bit more character development especially from the male lead but overall, it was solid.
