I think that this is a good book to read if you want to learn more about poverty and the trauma impoverished people face (at least in Scotland) . 

I felt myself agreeing with most things said by Darren McGarvey with a few exceptions. 

Even though this was first published in 2017, I feel that the JK Rowling (terf) quote  could’ve been removed in the new prints.
