I loved reading this. I worried because the idea of a fortune hunter didn't quite interest me, but I wanted to branch out in my historical authors and I saw this one and the idea for the series as a whole intreagued me. Now looking at book two I'm even more excited for Drakers story. First I was excited because he's a bearded recluse, but the synopsis is very beauty and the beast so I'll be into that very soon lol.

It was written well with great pacing and I found myself interested in all of the characters, especially the three half brothers etc. very happy I chose this one and I can't wait to read more from this author.
