Another good story following the first book. I kinda prefer the plot of the first one better, the villains in this one were a bit laughable even though they were very awful, but they didn’t feel like an unsurmountable challenge like the evil being in book 1. And yes, Greta was in danger but we, the readers know she wasn’t going to be in REAL danger because of the genre.

Still, it was an interesting read. I liked the new characters. I liked Fass’s upgrade and I was quite happy with the romantic relationships (no spoiler but I think one of the characters should have been punished a lot more, I don’t care about his backstory, the things he did were awful)

Last thing, I know I asked for more female characters in book 1 and my wish was kinda answered here..? I mean we got 2 female vampires but neither of them was top-of-the-pyramid material and one of them got killed very anti-climatically. So they were kinda an improvement from book 1, but not really.
