Review: AL Jackson picked them good for this audiobook! Desiree and Zachary emulate the couple in this book to a T and they had the perfect voices to bring these two to life. I enjoyed how they each embodied the character they had and were able to build off the other as the POVs alternated. I also loved how Zachary was able to soften his tone when Ezraβs kids were in the scenes. I felt like his range of emotion in this story really allowed me to imagine his character and see him in my mind. Add to it the way him and Desiree had tangible angst and feeling as they read, he was truly the one I loved in this audiobook!
Desiree on the other hand was the perfect Savannah Ward. She perfected the nuances to Savannahβs character and I enjoyed seeing how she changed her voice to align with what was occurring in the book. She also did Savannahβs story justice and they way she brought her to life was full of raw intensity I donβt see in audiobooks alot. Overall, this audiobook was one of my favorites this year and I enjoyed how this duo elevated the story to bring a sense of reality to their HEA.
Rating: 5/5, a perfect duo for the broody sheriff and his woman!
