This story deals with love and loss heavily and goes into the depths of starting to move on after the loss of a lover. As such, I highly recommend looking up trigger warnings before picking up this story. My rating is reflective that I was not in the ideal mood to read this book at the time I picked it up. I can appreciate the emotional complexities and memories that are the backbone of the story.

This story was made so much better by the inclusion of Charlee's best friend Genesis. She singlehandedly brought the story to life and pushed the plot ahead. I would've loved to have seen more from her character in the book.
