I marked this book as 'to-read' in 2018, and it's only taken me 5 years to actually pick it up. I know I'm terribly late to the Brandon Sanderson party, but I can see why it's a party.

I feel like I don't need to write an extensive review of why I liked it so much, or how great this book is, because everyone and their mom has written those reviews, and I pretty much agree with all of it.

I do wish I had picked this up back around 2018, when I was newer to the fantasy genre, and I think this book would've really blown my mind then. It's a great book, but if I had read it a couple years ago I would've been obsessed.

I read this entirely on audio (Micheal Kramer is just the best) and I'm looking forward to starting book 2!
