Wow

This book was in my TBR for ages. I needed a serious palette cleanser and saw it and said "Congratulations! You've just made the Currently Reading List!".

I looked to this book to be entertaining, angsty, sexy, and gritty. Checked every single One of those boxes with gold stars.

I adore that each year from 16 on Evan(geline) runs into Sebastian but he won't do more than kiss her because she is under 18. Let's give Charleigh Rose a round of applause. Because this book pulls no punches in the steam factor but Charleigh Rose was solid in setting the age boundary.

Tragedy strikes Evan's family and Sebastian may or may have not been involved. As her family is torn apart and the attraction between Sebastian and Evan becomes stronger, Evan decides to run off and join Sebastian and his life in the carnival.

This book packs in so much.

I didn't expect this book. I was just looking for something cute. I got something so much more.
