This book made me cold and grasp onto summer with my nails.  Was it the best romantic suspense I've read?  No.  But I actually wanted to listen to it and I actually finished it.  That's saying something since I haven't completed a book (and enjoyed it) in nearly a week.  Which is a blink of time, but it is a lot for me (this is the 228th book I've read in 2024).
