Keys and Kisses by Heather Long

5.0

Keys and Kisses is an absolute emotional roller coaster from start to finish. Seriously. You've been warned.

BUT.

ITS SO GOOD.

We dive right back in with Frankie and her boys (minus Ian.....for the time being. He'll be back. He has to be!!!) and the friendship continues to be my absolute favorite part of the series. Keys and Kisses sees Frankie really coming into her own though, and starting to be her own advocate for what she wants and needs. All of the guys want to take care of her (in their own unique ways) but she's so much better about communicating what she wants and what her limits are and I am HERE FOR IT.

The drama with Maddy is definitely still there and won't be going anywhere soon, which is annoying, but I'm also thrilled because you know she's absolutely going to get what's coming to her. And it will be glorious.

The drama with Ian is less satisfying because he's clearly coming from a place of love for Frankie and just wanting to do what is best for her. But I love the realness this shows because they're still young and figuring things out the best they can.

The ending was written very well for such a hard topic, and I love how the boys stepped up immediately and took care of Frankie when she needed it most. Very emotional, but probably my favorite book yet!
