Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams

5.0

Sarah Adam just blew me completely away. I was expecting this to be good but not THIS good. Amazing and incredible.

Annie Walker, a quiet florist in the small town of Rome, Kentucky, has been on a quest to find her perfect match but when she overhears her date calling her “sounbelievably boring” she realizes that maybe it will be more difficult than she initially thought and she might need a little help. Enter Will Griffin, the gorgeous, flirtatious, tattooed bodyguard extraordinaire currently employed by superstar Rae Rose or Amelia Rose, who also happens to be Annie’s soon-to-be sister in law. He’s anti-commitment, anti-feelings and perfect to be Annie’s new dating coach.

Suppressed feelings begin to arise, the chemistry begins to bubble and the sparks begin to fly around in this beautiful rom-com!

I really liked When in Rome last year and was so excited to see who’s book was going to be next. Annie’s story is full of joys and perfect for your romantic heart! I loved so many things about this book and hopefully you will too!

It was deliciously romantic. Kind of like watching a 90s rom-com but with still it having the magic of being a book. Annie is the one who the town refers to as the quiet one, the cute one, an angel if you will. She absolutely loathes it and, as we see throughout the book, it’s something that cages her internally. She’s always thought she wanted to keep playing those roles but in this book we see how she battles to break free of that. Will helps with that in so many ways, he’s her example of not giving a single f*ck. They are complete opposites and they manage to make each other grow in new ways.

Their love had so many tropes like strangers to friends to lovers, dating practice and slow-ish burn. Sarah completely understood the assignment.
They are playful, flirty, fresh and gosh every time they interacted sparks flew. I loved reading about their feelings and getting to know them.

I also loved coming back to Rome. It’s such a fun and entertaining town. I loved seeing Amelia and Noah as they got ready for their wedding, and getting to know a little bit more of the Walker sisters.

I’m so excited with what’s to come with this series and can’t wait to see all the love stories coming
