I know many people will disagree with this review. I needed to motivate myself to finish 2 chapters per day just to get through this. To clarify, I’m not a huge Sci-Fi reader, but this year I want to read more genres to challenge myself.

It started out strong and interesting and I was definitely expecting a fun space adventure/experience but it turned into a super technical / sciencey prose with a 1 dimensional character. I just didn't care.

BUT, I survived. The ending redeemed itself, hence the additional 0.5 star.

Again, I'm not a sci-fi fan, so it's definitely not for me, but I totally understand why lots of readers enjoyed it. It's futuristic and kinda funny.
