A Witch to Remember: A Wishcraft Mystery by Heather Blake
5.0
Oh, my heart.
I was both eager to read and dreading this book because it's the last in the series. I really wanted to see what happens and to get back to the Enchanted Village with Darcy, Harper, Nick, Starla, and the rest of the group, but at the same time I didn't want it to end.
This final book has Darcy investigating the murder of the co-owner of a tea room while also getting ready for her wedding. It was as engaging as ever, with the focus being on Darcy, Dorothy, and Darcy's mom, the Elder. There was still plenty of fun, laughs, and tears to be had, however. I had to smile when Darcy commented (groaned, really) about cutting back on caffeine. I could totally feel her pain. I was surprised that I figured out who did it early on. Normally I have an idea and then Heather throws a huge twist at me that makes me go "WTF? How did I miss that?"
I loved how Heather tied up everything into a neat bow. I was all over the place emotionally because I felt such a connection to these characters. I'm sad that we won't see any more adventures from this group, but it's definitely worth a re-read or four. :)
