We were going to die one by one without having understood anything of what had happened to us and, as the years went by, our questions petered out.
a dystopian book that portrays one woman's pov about life that she didn’t know, reading this book, made me inhale all the emotions and the confusion this main character has. it is insanity and until the end, i didn’t know what truly happened to all these characters.
this book is a character study per se, so it’s fair that sometimes i felt bored with the no plot and purpose.
the author's success makes me sympathise with the outcasted feelings, hope, and despair. the trigger warning is quite graphic. great dystopian, lit-fiction book.
