The book apparently wasn't proofread (there's even an error on the back cover copy--it says Nathan is a vet, but he's a people doctor!), but that's not the author's fault. It was a cute book, probably 3 star in quality but in the moment I enjoyed it at a 4 star level. Because who wants to read serious books over Christmas break?
