Knock Knock, Open Wide by Neil Sharpson

5.0

4.5 rounded up.

What a chilling, graphic, sapphic, and weird story.

I wasn’t sure where this one was going and even up to the 80 percent mark, I was question what was even happening.

This book is dark, but it made me very much so want to learn more about The Morrígan and Irish Folklore. My main issue was just that, is that I felt at times the book relied heavily on the reader knowing the background of Irish folklore and I would have been in a better spot had I been given a crash course prior.

But this book was phenomenally written, compelling, and interesting. It is a bit slow from the 20-40 percent mark, but then it comes crashing together to make sense and I couldn’t put it down.

I hope to see more from Neil Sharpson in the near future.
