  • really beautifully written book & incredible lyrical prose with a perspective on mental health, the spirit and identity that definitely stands apart from the traditional canon of western & eurocentric approaches
  • a story about Igbo spirituality, mental health, disassociated identities, gender dysphoria and trauma
  • the author draws a lot on their own experiences, as it's a semi autobiographical fiction
